The DDS schools – which include Grammar Schools, Secondary Moderns and Primary Schools – through working together can offer aspiring teachers an excellent experience base from which to launch their careers.
School Direct is a training programme for both graduates and career changers, where you can be fully immersed in the life of a teacher from day one. It gives the trainee the chance to work and learn alongside teachers within the full time setting of a school.
School Direct courses are set up in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University and are popular for those training to be a teacher who hope to secure a teaching post in the network of schools where they are training.
